PARENTS:
Tendai saw his father John Gwaravaza, as a huge mentor when he began teaching him the art of stone carving in 1995.

EARLY LIFE:
Tendai lived with his uncles who carved wood by the river and as he was surrounded by so many talebnted craftsmen, so his love of the arts began.

CAREER:
Tendai Gwaravaza is a highly respected sculptor at the Chitungwiza Arts Centre. His art expresses sacred beliefs of the Shona people
