Lockdown 2 - The Sculpture Park’s statement

Tuesday 3 November 2020

We are pleased to confirm that, as a ‘pay to enter’ public garden, we are able to keep The Sculpture Park open during Lockdown 2 starting Thursday 5 November. This is following assessment and advice on the latest restrictions.

We hope that our park can offer a tranquil space for local residents to walk safely outdoors, while exercising mental and physical well-being. We offer a 2 mile, one way trail of woodland, water gardens and art work.

To ensure our visitors and staff safety, we have limited further the number of tickets available. Tickets must be pre-booked online and are allocated in 1 hour arrival time slots.

Pre-Book Tickets

Lockdown 2 - The Sculpture Park is open

Visitors can arrive at any time during their 1 hour arrival slot, meaning that entrances are staggered.

Visitors are advised that the trail takes 2-3 hours to complete. Please use this time frame as a guide for your length of stay at the park.

As per government guidelines for Lockdown 2, please only attend with the people you live with, your support bubble, or 1 person from another household.

You do not need to print your ticket, as we will have you registered on the system, but please ensure it is available on your phone should proof be required.

Picnics are not advised so please eat before/after your visit. You are welcome to bring a drink/snack. No refreshments are available for sale.

Toilets with hand washing facilities are available and cleaned regularly. Hand sanitiser is available and please also brings your own and use regularly.

The indoor gallery will be closed. A mask will be required for checking in at reception.

Should restrictions/guidance change, and we need to close, all ticket holders will be notified and offered a change of date or refund for their tickets.

As always, if you are showing any symptoms of Coronavirus, please do not attend.

Please ensure you keep your social distance from other visitors.

We hope that this news can bring some joy to those locally who wish to attend the park during Lockdown 2 and we look forward to your visit.

Please note that nearly all sculptures are for sale and available to buy online as well as a full delivery and installation service.
