Before becoming a sculptor Ian had many other jobs including, a painter a singer and even an actor frequently appearing on stage and TV

CAREER:
Ian has been a seinor lecturer at many UK universities as well as teaching in many different States of America.

MEDIUMS USED IN WORK:
Salt glazed stoneware, Paperclay. Clay. His speciality is sculptural ceramics, making life sized pieces in saltglaze and raku using a technique he developed in 1976

SUBJECTS OF WORK:
Animals, often disturbing and comic in nature
