LIVES:
Bristol

EDUCATION:
Studied art and sculpture at Norwich School of Art and then Royal College of Art, Battersea

CAREER:
Dallas has been creating his distinctive sculptural work for over two decades in his BV studio in the heart of Bristol.

AWARDS:
He was shortlisted for the Jerwood sculpture prize in 2007 and in 2008 he was commissioned by Barratt Homes of Bristol to produce a big public art piece called ‘Ocular Gate’. In 2018, he was selected to become an academician of the Royal West of England Academy of Art, Bristol.

MEDIUMS USED IN WORK:
Dallas’ work has a sense of fluidity, as if everything could be made of the same substance. Collaborations between art and science are important to him because of the questions raised by their respective practices.

EXHIBITIONS:
Dallas’ works have been exhibited internationally and nationally including the Royal West of England Academy, in Italy and in the USA.
