Anthony Rogers

EDUCATION:
Anthony originally trained as an archaeologist. He worked in the field for several years before undertaking a Diploma in Foundation Studies in Art & Design in Bath College.
CAREER:
Anthony was an apprentice with Lawrence Tyndall, a sculptor from Bath as well as with
Spike Island Studios in Bristol before setting up as a wood sculptor and creating many public art commissions and residencies. He is currently involved in a project with artist Barry Cooper, working with students from Frome Community College to create an artwork from a 20 metre fallen oak tree in the grounds of the National Trust Stourhead Estate, Wiltshire.

EXHIBITIONS:
Anthony exhibits throughout the U.K with large scale sculptures. Anthony’s sculptural seats are on display at The Sculpture Park and create two of the most photographed views.
